Author & Researcher FAQ

How long does the peer review process take?

Initial technical screening takes 3 to 5 business days. Once approved for external peer review, referee reports typically conclude within 3 to 4 weeks. Accepted papers are published continuously online upon proof approval.

What is the policy regarding Article Processing Charges (APCs) and fee waivers?

Annals of Curiosity maintains an equitable policy. While nominal charges assist in sustaining DOI and indexing costs, full or partial fee waivers are automatically considered for student authors, unfunded researchers, and scholars from low-to-middle income countries (LMICs).

Who holds copyright on published articles?

Authors retain full copyright under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY 4.0). You and any third party are free to share, redistribute, and build upon the work with proper credit to the original publication.

How do researchers join an active collaborative project?

Browse our Research Projects Portal, review the project aim and co-authorship criteria, and click to join the designated project communication group or contact the lead investigator directly.
